Anyone who’s stayed at Ramada Port Douglas knows Bozo, our Resident Cockatoo. We received some very sad news from our Resort Manager, Nathan Hunt, regarding Bozo today.
Nathan says ‘It is with great sadness that I have to announce that Bozo, our resident cockatoo, passed away last night. Bozo became distressed and was taken to the Vet late yesterday afternoon. She was diagnosed as having had a stroke and was placed on oxygen. She passed away peacefully at 3.30.am’.
Bozo had been living at the Resort for over 20 years. She was truly loved, and will be missed by staff and guests alike. Bozo will be buried onsite after a small ceremony.

Jacqi has become part of the furniture at WorldMark South Pacific Club over the last 10 years. She has worked in various teams, including Customer Service, Systems and Owner Marketing & Solutions. She is passionate about health, holidays and roller derby. As a mother of an 11 year old boy, she has also recently become passionate about footy!
