A special Fiji Christmas.

I know that many of our WorldMarkSP Owners generously donate to the people of Fiji when they visit, and have been particularly generous when natural disasters have struck.  The staff at  Denarau Island are also involved, and recently donated $4,000 to Loloma Home. Located just outside of Nadi Town in Fiji, Loloma Home is a refuge for desperate mothers and their children and also cares for orphans, the homeless and the elderly.

The donation was an initiative of the resort sales and marketing team who pledged $1,000 of their own wages to assist the home. This pledge was then matched with personal donations by our CEO, Barry Robinson, as well as President and CEO of Wyndham Vacation Ownership Franz Hanning & Chief Operations Officer of Wyndham Vacation Ownership,  Geoff  Richards.

The donation, totaling $4,000 has supplied Loloma Home with enough milk, sugar, rice, kerosene and flour to last three months. The Wyndham staff also bought each mother and child a Christmas present and put on a special Christmas lovo lunch at the home.

“I can’t begin to tell you what your generosity means to us. You brought us supplies, food and even presents,” said Mrs Adi Kabunadaki, Director of Loloma Home, as she thanked the Wyndham staff.  The people of Loloma Home were very happy with the donation,  and the Wyndham team who organised the event were delighted to be involved.  And that’s what it’s all about!

Here is a story from WorldMarkSP Owner Toni, who understands just how the Wyndham team feel.  Please feel free to share your stories below.

Jacqi has become part of the furniture at WorldMark South Pacific Club over the last nearly 10 years.  She has worked in various teams, including Customer Service, Systems and Owner Marketing & Solutions.  “Being involved with WorldMark has inspired me to take regular family holidays, and I look forward to sharing these experiences with you, including some of the tips I’ve learned along the way”
