I’m sorry to do this to you.
And I must admit I got a shock myself.
The Christmas decorations, Christmas trees and general Christmas paraphernalia are out at David Jones already.
I’ve never thought of myself as a Grinch – I like tinsel, carols and candy canes as much as the next person but 100+ days out?! Is it just me, or does that seem to take some of the ‘joy’ out of Christmas and put a whole lot more of the ‘commercial’ in?
And although I’m a bit perplexed at the shopping centre Christmas decorations, it did get me thinking about what I’m doing for Christmas and what my options are.
Family Christmas
Try a short escape to the Gold Coast, visit the beautiful cost of Northern New South Wales at Coffs Harbour – or do family fun (including water pistols and crackers!) at home.
A Christmas just for two
Somewhere tropical perhaps? Or maybe a little more ‘city paced’?
Adventure away – White Christmas Experience

Something I’ve never done – so definitely on my ‘bucket list’ for future holiday adventures!
What are you planning for Christmas / New Years 2013? Are you adventuring away, or spending the time at home, saving your annual leave and travelling without the crowds?
One of my favorite places for Christmas getaways is Tokyo. I know that it’s kinda a weird choice as Tokyo is not known for Christian culture, but the atmosphere was just great the last time I went there in Christmas. It’s one of the most expensive city in the world though.
I’ve never been to Tokyo – but I don’t think that sounds like a weird choice at all! 🙂 It looks beautiful in pic’s & I’m sure it’s amazing in real life!
I tried to have a look at your site Susan – but I’m getting a 301 Error (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS) 😦
