Resort Reporter Fiji #74 – Fiji Future

Like waiting for a new baby to be born ….. that’s what it’s felt like for us, waiting for the new Wyndham Fiji resort … without the awful morning sickness, but still with the cravings!!! J

We watched eagerly as they cleared the land, we got excited as they laid the concrete slabs, we stopped on the boardwalk to watch them raise the walls …. and since then, we have watched them from afar completing the works, waiting with baited breathe for updates and pictures … and now, Voila!, it feels like our new baby has been born!

Since our honeymoon in 2003, we have returned to Fiji many times. It feels like our “second home”. There is nothing quite like coming back to the warm, welcoming smiles and loud cries of “Bula!”.

In July 2012, whilst on holiday in Fiji, we were offered the opportunity to attend an information session with the Wyndham resort. The staff made us feel so welcome and once we understood the benefits that come from being a Wyndham member, we took the plunge.

We can’t wait for the moment when we can return to Fiji and see the new Wyndham Fiji resort in person (we’re hoping for next year) …. we’re really looking forward to getting to know the team and meeting more owners. That is one of the most exciting parts about being an owner – not only do you have access to some of the most beautiful properties in the world, but you’re also part of a group of like-minded individuals who want to experience all that’s on offer when it comes to amazing accommodation … not just for now, but for the future. We’ll be so happy when we can say to our children, “There you go, it’s all yours now, enjoy” (after we’ve enjoyed it for many years, of course!). What a gift to be able to give! We feel so fortunate to be part of such a group.
