My family of four we were able to spend six weeks overseas using our Worldmark credits and RCI for all our accommodation thanks to the helpful WorldMark and RCI consultants. Our journey began with a flight to Los Angeles for a wonderful stay at Worldmark Anaheim. We had wanted to start our holiday in style and the penthouse lived up to our expectations! There was ample space for the four of us and for my sister who joined us from England. We enjoyed the short walk through the GardenWalk each day to reach Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks.
Then on to London where we spent a couple of days in an RCI hotel close to Marble Arch. We enjoyed using the double decker buses and underground to see the sights. We collected our rental car and drove through the snowy countryside to Wales for a two week stay in an RCI apartment complex. The apartments were in the quaint coastal village of Little Haven within the Pembrokeshire National Park. Our accommodation was only a ten minute drive to where Keith’s family live in Haverfordwest. We were able to spend time with family and catch up with friends in the area. We also had some very pleasant evenings at the friendly pub in Little Haven.
We had a few days in Leicester with my sister and some time in Castle Carey in Somerset with one of Keith’s brothers before starting the journey home. We flew direct to Las Vegas and stayed at WorldMark Las Vegas where we had a two bedroom apartment. We had an awesome week exploring the amazing city that is Las Vegas. The regular WorldMark shuttle made sightseeing a breeze. We missed out on a trip to the Grand Canyon due to bad weather however; a real highlight was the show Le Reve at the Wynn, which we booked through the helpful WorldMark staff.
Next we flew to Fiji to warm up at the beautiful Wyndham resort at Denarau. The three bedroom beachfront apartment allowed us to spread out and relax. We spent quite a bit of time in the pool and at the swim up bar but we also took a Jet Ski safari and a boat trip for some snorkeling All too soon we were boarding the plane for our flight back to New Zealand. We had to borrow and utilise all our current credits to make a trip of this length possible but it was worth it! We are now busy planning a shorter holiday following our next Wyndham anniversary!
