We’ve had some wonderful holidays including the first one in New Zealand staying at Wanaka on the lake, experiencing the local ski slopes at Cardrona. The scenery was extraordinary for our first time skiing and snow boarding. Hire a car & head south to see Fox Glacier. Take a drive to New Zealand’s famous Queenstown, which is over looked by some beautiful mountains.
Hoi An should be high on your list for places to visit. This resort has absolute beach front, it has Vietnam’s longest pool & a fantastic little township nearby. The resort has a free shuttle bus that runs frequently but why not jump on the back of a local’s motor bike for a new experience. We enjoyed some local dancers & musicians, whilst eating our dinner one evening. What a great night dancing & meeting other visitors. Once there, wander through the shops & book yourself in for a cooking lesson. Hoi An’s Worldmark resort has such a relaxing atmosphere.
If you have overseas visitors, head down to Tassie’s Seven Mile Beach resort. There’s so much to do in this unique setting. You’re holidaying in a peaceful and natural bush setting with wildlife at your doorstep. Our Canadian visitors loved every minute of our time here. And the kids will love collecting shells off the beach. Hobart is a short drive away with plenty to do. Plan a Saturday at Hobart’s waterfront & visit the historic Salamanca Market. Take the family up to Mt Wellington, for spectacular views of the city and Derwent River right through to Kingston beach in the south.
