Resort Reporter Fiji #48 – Wyndham Holidays

We first had a Wyndham Holiday experience in 2002 when we took advantage of an invitation to attend a presentation in Sydney.  We enthusiastically became Owners and not long after began to plan our first Owner getaway.  We were getting married, so we chose to honeymoon at WorldMark Denarau Island.  This opened up another world to us that we never dreamed would possibly exist for us.  Here we were holidaying in luxury – something we though was only reserved for the wealthy, a category which certainly we did not feel we fitted into.

Since that time 11 years ago, we have enjoyed ‘camping under the 5 stars’ (as we have called our Wyndham holidays) in Cairns, Surfers Paradise, Golden Beach, Kirra, Coffs Harbour, both Flynns Beach and Port Macquarie, Darling Harbour, Wanaka, Rotorua, twice to Denarau Island.  We’ve also stayed at affiliate resorts throughout New Zealand, Fiji and Perth.

These photos were taken at Wyndham Wanaka in April 2012.  Taking in the wonderful views of Lake Wanaka and looking over the swimming pool and heated spa from our balcony.  One of the highlights was that other holiday makeers would join us and sit in the lovely heated spa in the evenings and we would chat about our adventures.  It was interesting to chat to folk from within New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the US, all belonging to the Wyndham family.  There was much camaraderie felt and new friends made.  We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and fin cuisine dining in the Restaurant.  Wanaka – A place we look forward to returning to again.
