Sydney – What a city, and what a Wyndham! My husband and I, and various random family members, have taken advantage of the Wyndham Sydney numerous times, but one time in particular stands out above the rest.
Situated only a block and a bit from the Museum Train Station meant we caught the train everywhere, including to and from the Airport – talk about convenient!
Booking one of the Presidential Suites was a little extravagant, for us, but well worth the investment. On arrival, our first impression was that it was a small place as the lobby is tiny, but the welcome from staff, and their professionalism soon assured us we were at a first rate Hotel.
The room was outstanding – and that’s an understatement. The Presidential Suite we had was a two bedroom, two bathroom suite, artfully decorated, and although compact, it far surpassed our expectations.
Imagine sipping Champagne (or in my case grape-juice) in a generously sized spa pool, on your private balcony overlooking Sydney’s City lights, listening to your choice of sounds through the outdoor speakers, while your other half throws some more prawns on the BBQ. Magic, is what that is!
I often reminisce about that break and can’t help but let out a little sigh, you know the one – the one that says, “Nice, I’d love to do that again,” and one day, I will!
