Situated in a tranquil garden setting, Wyndham Seven Mile Beach Resort, Tasmania, is unquestionably of the standard we have come to expect during our 10 years of ownership. We found our apartment spacious and stylish, with a private courtyard. The perfect place to enjoy a glass of local wine as the sun goes down.
There was plenty to keep the kids occupied with a giant game of snakes and ladders set in the lawn by the BBQ area, and a games room. For the big at heart kids a heated pool, spa, sauna and gym.
At Hobart’s Salamanca Market, we browsed an abundance of handcrafts and selected tasty homemade delights to enjoy later. The adjacent waterfront restaurant precinct presented the perfect opportunity to enjoy quality regional seafood.
My hubby and I walked the shoreline each morning surprised by the wide-ranging mix of multicoloured sea sponges and shells left by the retreating tide. A trip to Richmond’s Goal and historic bridge and another to Port Arthur immersed us in Tasmania’s convict heritage and after a busy day exploring, we dined on sumptuous seafood at the onsite restaurant, Beaches.
With so much to see and do here, we’ll definitely be back.
