Our family of penguins found a cosy place to dwell. Phillip Island Ramada Resort proved to be a gem of a find. Located on the main road it was easy to find. Our two bedroom cabin was comfortable for four penguins to feather their nest. The bush surrounds provided a tranquil backdrop, without losing convenience of having the cafe, pizzeria, pool, gym and walking tracks at our fingertips. We agreed that we should’ve brought our bikes to explore more of the grounds. A lovely dinner was had at the cafe and we also enjoyed a mouth watering pizza whilst sitting on our cabin’s patio. Weather was excellent, allowing our flock to spend a day at Smiths Beach. Our two chicks prefer to dip their toes in the waves to body surf and boogie board. We also visited Amaze n Things, though no one was brave enough to test the vertical slide! The resort is situated in close proximity to other tourist sites, Koala Conservation Park, shops, Pelican feeding, Churchill Island and of course the world famous fairy penguins, just remember to take a blanket if it is a cold night. This family of penguins gives the resort two wings!
