Our holiday in Dunsborough WA, was really memorable as it was our first time in the west coast. Our kids 2 & 1 enjoyed visiting the caves at Yallingup looking at the different crystal formations inside; the next day we went to see the Margaret River maze and they were excited to explore finding their way to the middle and out of the maze. As it was Easter break the staff at the resort had organized an Easter egg hunt for the kids and a egg spoon race which my 2 year old was really excited to participate. We visited the town of Busselton and went to the famous jetty where you can either walk or take a train ride as it extends 1.8 kms across the beautiful Geographe Bay. Our next stop was the lighthouse at Cape Naturaliste, the town of Augusta where we had a rest by the beach watching the sunset and the kids playing in the sand. Our last night we experienced a traditional Aboriginal dinner and dance at the Wardan Aboriginal Centre. on the last day we visited some of the thousands of wineries in the region where we tasted some amazing wines and produce.
